Experience the heart of Punjab a journey of heritage, reflection, community and personal renewal.


This 8-day journey is designed to allow you to slow down, step away from everyday life and reconnect with yourself while experiencing the true spirit of Punjab.

Days 1–5: Village Retreat Experience 


 Living Punjab Beyond Tourism

  • Arrival in Delhi and travel together to our village base in Punjab.
  • Spend 5 nights in one peaceful village location, allowing you the time and space to truly settle, reflect and reconnect.
  • Experience authentic village life while connecting with the local community and the dedicated team behind the charity hosting your stay.
  •  Learn about their award-winning work in sports development through education, and meet the staff who are committed to creating opportunities, supporting young people, families, older generations and helping build a better future for generations to come.
  • Step away from the rush of modern life and create space for personal growth, mindfulness and self-reflection.
  • Take part in a range of optional wellbeing activities designed to support your inner balance and personal growth, including meditation, evening meditation sessions, journalling, mindfulness practices, gong baths, astrology chart readings, Ayurvedic massage, personal reflection, cooking workshops, dance and music workshop, sports sessions with the community connection, and meaningful cultural experiences.
  • Experience the simplicity of village living  local food, traditions, nature and the warmth of Punjabi hospitality.
  • Visit historic Gurdwaras and discover the stories, sacrifices and teachings of the 10 Sikh Gurus, exploring the foundations of Sikh values such as compassion, equality, courage and seva.


Days 6–7: Anandpur Sahib & Amritsar 


 Walking Through Sikh History

  • Travel to Anandpur Sahib, the birthplace of the Khalsa and a place of deep spiritual and historical significance.
  • Learn about Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the creation of the Khalsa and the importance of Sikh identity and resilience.
  • Continue to Amritsar for two nights.
  • Experience the spiritual energy of Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple):
    • Morning prayers.
    • Seva (selfless service).
    • Langar (community kitchen).
    • Time for quiet reflection and personal connection.
  • Visit Jallianwala Bagh and explore the history of Amritsar.
  • Experience the powerful Wagah Border Ceremony, witnessing the daily border closing ceremony between India and Pakistan.

Day 8: Journey Back to Delhi

  • Final morning in Punjab.
  • Begin the journey back towards Delhi.

Days 7–11 Himalayan Retreat Experience Dharamshala

Journey from heritage into healing as we travel towards the peaceful Himalayan mountains.

  • Scenic drive from Punjab into the Himalayan region, experiencing the changing landscapes of North India.
  • Arrival in Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj, surrounded by mountains, nature and tranquillity.
  • Spend four nights in the Himalayas, creating space to slow down, reflect and reconnect with yourself.
  • Daily opportunities for meditation, mindfulness, wellbeing practices and personal reflection.
  • Visit peaceful mountain locations, Buddhist monasteries and local temples.
  • Experience Tibetan culture, mountain life and a slower pace of living away from everyday pressures.
  • A time to restore your mind, body and spirit while reconnecting with nature and inner wellbeing.

Days 12–13: Delhi Spiritual & Cultural Experience

Discover the contrast between ancient traditions, spirituality and modern India.

  • Travel back to Delhi.
  • Visit Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, one of Delhi’s most significant Sikh sites:
    • Experience prayer, reflection, seva (selfless service) and Sikh history.
  • Visit Akshardham Temple and experience the evening light and water show.
  • Explore Delhi’s rich culture, where centuries-old traditions meet modern city life.
  • Time to reflect on the journey and experiences gathered across India.

Day 14: Taj Mahal & Agra Experience

Discover one of India’s greatest symbols of love, history and architecture.

  • Travel to Agra to visit the world-famous Taj Mahal.
  • Explore the history, stories and incredible architecture behind this iconic monument.
  • Experience the atmosphere of Agra and learn about the Mughal heritage that shaped this region.
  • Return towards Delhi and prepare for the final stage of the journey.

Day 15: Osho Dham Meditation Experience – Near Delhi

A final day of stillness, reflection and inner connection before returning home.

  • Spend time at Osho Dham Meditation Centre, a peaceful retreat space near Delhi.
  • Step away from the busy pace of travel and create space for meditation, awareness and personal reflection.
  • Participate in meditation practices designed to support relaxation, mindfulness and inner wellbeing.
  • Reflect on the journey from Punjab’s spiritual roots, through the Himalayas, and across India’s rich cultural heritage.
  • Enjoy a peaceful final evening surrounded by a calm environment before your international departure.

Day 16: Departure

  • Transfer to Delhi International Airport for your journey home.
  • Leave India carrying memories of spirituality, culture, community, connection and personal transformation.

This land holds my roots, my family stories, and the everyday life that shaped who I am. If it wasn’t for the charity we are returning to support, I may never have truly known my land or developed the deep love I now carry for my village. 


Opening this experience to you is my way of giving back  sharing the culture, warmth and simplicity of village living, where people greet you with genuine connection and open hearts.  Through EduAction, we also support local children, families and community projects, ensuring your visit becomes part of something real, meaningful and lasting.

This November, Sundar will be part of the team leading you onto the path of India a journey through powerful temples, ancient energies and places that awaken inner silence. His presence offers a steady, seasoned hand, helping travellers connect not only with India, but with their own inner awareness.

Trained in Kundalini Yoga and Transpersonal Integrative Psychotherapy, he supports individuals moving through awakening, trauma and profound inner transformation with clarity and grounded presence.   Jag blends myth, psychology and embodied practice to help people reconnect with the Force within. With over twenty years in the wellbeing field. 


This November, Jag joins the team to walk with you on the golden path of India, bringing his depth, experience and warrior wisdom to this transformative journey.
